Nocturnal | Rose Quartz Rollerball Necklace

Nocturnal has long been my most sought after design. It was the very first design I ever made in my signature style. The Nocturnal Rollerball Necklace embodies all things magical. The artwork features my original hand drawn coniferous forest inspired by my childhood in the woods of the Pacific Northwest with tiny crescent moon. The moon is commonly a symbol of feminine energy and beauty. The concept of a Rollerball Necklace or perfume vessel jewelry dates back all the way to ancient Romans. It was later revived and popularized during the Victorian era, worn on what was called a Chatelaine. A Chatelaine was a piece of jewelry with small chains suspending various small tools. These were not just any tools but rather extremely elaborate and decorative pieces; typically thimbles, scissors, notebooks, pencils, and vessels for perfume oils. 

Charmed Ones feature charms and castings collected from small artisanal shops and are made with solid sterling silver. This rollerball necklace is a premium charm queen, consisting of a stunning owl casting, handmade crescent moon, and five double-sided feather charms.

Fringed Rollerball Necklaces feature my signature chain fringe, inspired by the fringe jewelry of the roaring 20’s. Fringe is found in two different styles; either diamond cut chain or bar chain. Each strand is held in perfectly so they’re never out of place! At the end of each chain is a sterling silver feather charm.

The crystal on this Rollerball Necklace is gemmy Rose Quartz. Crystals and stones found within my collections are gem-quality specimens curated by artisanal lapidaries and family operated mines. These crystals were curated especially for my rollerball necklaces.

Rose Quartz within the Love Witch collection are exceptionally rich in color and are gemmy. The Rose Quartz featured in Love Witch were cut by artisans exclusively for my Rollerball Necklaces. With its deep pink color, Rose Quartz is a stone of the heart and considered the embodiment of unconditional love. It harnesses the soft feminine energy of peace, healing, and compassion. Rose Quartz is closely associate with the Goddess of Love, Aphrodite. In Metaphysical terms, Rose Quartz is known as the romance stone, used to attract love, add loving energy to relationships, and to bring calm and peace. It is thought that the comforting and soothing energy of Rose Quartz can help heal a broken heart, allowing release of pent-up emotions and grief. Rose Quartz also helps release unexpressed feelings about others.
